All supplies are in. I will start cutting bowstems for everybody next week. I will go over that when everybody is here at the build.

OK builders, it looks like the finial cost for supplies is going to be around $180 each.I still need to pick up some brass screws, but that 180 should cover that.

Today I started cutting lumber up. Got the 3/4" plywood cut.

And I have the bowstems cut.

I will go over that when everybody gets here. Maybe tomorrow I will get some more cut.

Any questions, at this point, call me or email. I'm just praying for great weather like we been having.

Good days and bad days. Just the norm. Gave the body hell Friday. Had a date with a bottle of Jim Beam.

Might have to finish it today.

How you doing? Staying the course?

Polish it off, Pops!

I'm doing good. Hovering between 85-90lbs lost over the last week.

Got some more lumber cutting done today. Got the battens and rub rails cut. Something I should of done on the first build was go back in sand the cut section on the rub rails. Sorry guys, but these are done for this go around.

Now, I'm hopping everybody wants a 13' 6" pirogue with 9 1/2" sides. That is what these are going to be. Got the first set cut out and those will serve as the pattern for the rest. I will get that done tomorrow. Fusion day Wednesday and that knocks me down somewhat and I have to rest Thursday for the better part of the day.

Friday night, they have the walk for cure of cancer going down in town. That goes on all night. They will be serving hot food out there for a donation and it is just about 2-3 miles from my house. If you don't want that, there are a bunch of places to eat around town.

Hello all

I have mentioned in this forum that I will be coming in from north Texas. I live in Frisco which is 25 miles from Presbyterian. I work from home and have not been in that area for close to ten years. I have not been on a plane in the last three months. The same can be said for my wife.

I know there may be some concern and rightfully so regarding people from Dallas, specifically Presbyterian, but I have no dealings with the hospital or staff which could expose me to the Ebola virus.

Please let me know if anyone has any questions.
