Shouldn't be a competition but who should be the higher priority?
I have read about women complaining about men putting their mother's first. I'm sure women do it too. I know some religions project that marriage brings a couple into one person. Figuratively of course.
I personally believe that marriage is a next chapter of your life and that your wife should be first because that's who you're building your life with.
Friend says parents bc that's who got you there.
