One small raised bed.

Cucumbers, squash, bell peppers, japs, creole tomatoes, early girls, purple heirloom, cherry tomatoes

If I can keep the birds off my tomatoes I will have it licked.

I put new garden soil from a local garden soil place, I hope that helps my yield.

I have tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucs, ocra, melons and cantelope all in my garage under a light.

Spot is prepped but waiting a bit longer to transfer them outside. Due to our cold temps, all of my seeds sprouted later than normal so they arent quite ready to transplant yet.

My garden spot use to be two raised flower beds. The timbers were rotten though and not really big enoguh anyway so I tore them out and tilled the entire area. been working in manure, compost and shredded leaves for the last two years.

Weather has been terrible. Got squash and tomatoes in the ground but they really aren't doing much yet. I'm afraid once it warms up for good it's instantly gonna get too hot and a lot of folks are gonna be disappointed.

Every time I go to mine I say I'm taking a picture, but my hands always end up muddy and I leave my phone in my pocket. Here's what I have to-date, subject to change based upon 33 degree forcast for Wednesday morning, and possible hail tonight.

Close to 80 tomato plants, of differing varieties.

4 rows of corn (all rows 160-175' long each)

2 rows of potatoes

1 row bush beans

1 row cucumbers (1/2 burpless, 1/2 straight eights)

1 row squash (yellow crooked-neck, and yellow straight-neck)

1 row a mix of zucchini, eggplant, peppers

1 row of cantaloupe

1 row of watermelons in main garden

1 500' row of watermelon in a different field

I have 3 wires of electric fence around it (solar powered)

I have a 2" pump if needed to water from a pond right next to the garden

It's a family garden (me, brother, old man) share responsibilities on, but my pop is retired so he goes by every day. I go about 3-4x per week right now. My brother will go once stuff needs picking.

all I have is last years, I will post a new one once everything grows a little bit more

Zucchini, squash, carrot, onions, peppers, broccoli, beans, lettuce, spinach. Several varieties of some of those. As well as a bunch of herbs in pots

Same as last year with lime, gypsum, and some fertilizer added this year

Raised beds

yes

Besides the fence, Im building a PVC cage with netting around the tomatoes to keep the squirrels at bay a little this year. I also lined the garden before planting with weed barrier, so will be interesting to see how it does

I planted on Saturday. I hope the cold snap tonight isn't too terrible. Soil temps were super warm Sat, so I think I am good to go. I splurged and bought mostly 5" containers that were on sale...maybe I get a jump start when the weather does get just right.

I haven't been able to take any yet. Finally got the first row planted this weekend. Waiting for some seedlings to develop a bit more before planting the rest.

I didn't do it this year, but I may try running a soaker hose below the weed fabric for watering. I'm afraid the holes will clog, though.

Tomatoes:
Carolina Gold
Cherokee Purple
Mortgage Lifter
A southern roma variety with a name can't recall right now
Sweet Baby Girl

Peppers:
4 anaheim chili
Pimento
Poblano
Goliath Jalapeno
Golden Summer Bell
Aristotle Bell

Louisiana Long Green Eggplant

Squash:
Butternut
Yellow Crookneck
Zucchini

Lima Beans

National Pickling Cucumbers

I'm also contemplating adding a ghost pepper plant to challenge people

I've been building up my soil for several years. Last year I added a lot of manure and miracle grow garden soil, but I didn't add any soil this year. I had my soil tested instead and ended up adding urea, triple super phosphate, muriate of potash, and soil acidifier (I needed to bring the pH down from around 7.35). We'll see how it works out.

Negative.

When I was prepping the soil, the only things I saw were a ton of worms, grubs, a few spiders, and a toad.

Awesome little set up, NYCAub.

And thanks for all the posts from everybody. Good stuff so far.

I've had herbs in pots the last couple years, but really wanting to do a full garden at home (we have a nice sized one at work that I help take care of, but most all of the food goes to the restaurant at the winery).

It sounds like you and your dad share responsibilities and your brother gets veggies.

1 4 X 10 raised bed:
Tomatoes:
Cherokee Purple
Carolina Gold
Talladega

Crook neck squash
Classic eggplant
bush cucumber
Lima beans
blue lake green bean

3-2 X 4 raised boxes

1) Thai Basil
Cinnamon Basil
Sweet basil
Greek oregano
German Thyme
2) Tam Jalapeno
Thai pepper
Anaheim Pepper
Cayenne pepper
3) Banana Pepper
sweet Cubanelle
other sweet varieties

Prep, I used 41% Glyphosate 3 weeks ago on the area for the raised bed. Put down landscape fabric then filled bed with garden soil from a garden center. Made rows and snaked 3/8" soaker hose throughout the bed.
2'X4' beds- made out of western red cedar. 6" deep on 2' legs for easy access. Added fabric to this as well before adding potting soil and amendments. I made 1 for the herbs, 1 for hot peppers, 1 for sweet peppers. have drip lines on these.

4 containers with tomatoes and cucumbers.

Once fruit sets, I will put up PVC frame with netting to keep birds and such out.
