I've seen it recommended a few times since it's reopened. Going there in about a week. How's it been and, other than the brisket, what do folks recommend?

The Chicken Bon Femme is outstanding.

ETA: I'm sorry. I do not know much about how everything has been going since the T-Shirt shop drama.. or else I'd have given input to ya.

Haven't been there since Christmas two years ago and certainly not since the t-shirt drama. That said, I'd stick with the classics. And spend time in that bar (one of the best in the city). Of course, as I recall, that was never a problem for you, GG.

Its very good. Shrimp remoulade and any seafood/fish entree have been great. The chicken is still superb.

I don't know anything about the tshirt drama, but it sounds like I should buy one.

I'd read that the chicken was an off menu item. I won't order chicken but it looks good and someone else in my party might.

My wife and I went there years ago, pre-Katrina. Excellent brisket, served with some kind of horse radish something or other on the side. If I was in the mood for something else besides brisket, I think I'd go somewhere else. But hey, like I said, it was years ago.

I went for lunch the other day. Although it was a Friday and I was in a rush, but I had the seafood salad cobb. It was pretty good for what it was
