Agreed. I don't have an issue with anything that occurred, but I know they break the window and throw the hose through to prove a point, not to make it easier on them.

You want the hose to be as straight as possible, but you also have to get water to the fire and quickly, the firefighters already wasted precious time having to bust the windows out, more would have been wasted trying to get the doors off.
