Local sheriff dept. They also gave a ticket to some dude that jumped the on ramp traffic line which I enjoyed.

I never buy anything there, groceries, fast food, hardware, NOTHING from Port Allen. Bridge cops are bigger dicks than Golden Meadow's.

If it was as simple as paying for an inspection you would hardly see any expired stickers. The problem is, with newer cars, the slightest little thing will cause a failed inspection. This requires people to spend hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars on a car that works just fine to get it "road-worthy". With the cost of living skyrocketing, it's just not very high on people's priority list.

I pulled a 6-month job in the Port of Baton Rouge for a client a couple of years ago. That part of La. 1 leading to I-10 had those inspection sticker checkpoints near daily.

During the peak traffic hours, there will most likely be a WBR sheriff at the base of the Horace Wilkinson(MS) bridge ramp from LA-1 northbound waiting for people to cross the double solid white lines. Also during the afternoon/evening hours of the beginning of the month there will most likely be Port Allen marshalls sitting at the Plaquemine exit ramp from I-10 to check on illegal tint, seatbelts, and expired inspection stickers.
