Would be shocked if our first three picks are all on the defensive side of the ball.

I like the players they have us taking.

but the first 3 rounds spent on defense?

Hopefully not. Hope we pick a WR with one of those picks in the 1st,2nd,or 3rd round.

I want NO part of Watkins, Mack, AND Mettenberger in this division. Watkins is probably one of the few people Mett CAN'T overthrow.

Having said that, I LOVE us taking Mosley, Attaochu, and Roberson.

This D would be stacked to epic proportions.

I have to admit, that sounds fricking terrifying. Tampa is super stacked on D and their O only needs a QB and a WR to go with VJax to be beast. That would be a legit arse team if they added Watkins and Mett.

As for the mock, I tend to feel like it won't roll that way unless we want to just smother everybody defensively and hope Drew can score us at least 21 by himself every week.. which I suppose is plausible. But I expect CSP had made it clear that we upgraded the D in FA and now he wants some toys for his offense.

ETA: Although if Mosley actually fell to us I would fap myself to death. A coverage LB is the only missing piece on our D IMO and adding him makes us borderline impossible to throw on.

I would have to agree with this, if Mosley is there we pick him.

We have a full 7 picks this year and you would have to figure we find some UDFA gem too. The offense will get some love.

D would be sick after this draft, although I would pick Jean-Baptiste over Roberson in the 3rd.

He won't have to score 21 by himself; he'll still have 10 other guys on the field with him. But I'm with you; I hope they add a few pieces on offense.

You have to admit, this is going to be an exciting draft filled with surprises.

Should take them 10 seconds to make the pick if he's there. An athletic LB who can move and cover in space could make this a top 3 D.

top 3 D
It's funny, cause my cousin said the same thing about Byrd making us a top 3 d, and I pointed out we were 4th in points allowed and yards.

Add in Bailey and Mosley and what, top 1?

I would like Mosley...I think ILB is the position we stand to improve at the most at this point

On a personal level, I most want to see a coverage LB drafted(whether that's ILB or OLB, I don't think the distinction matters as much as his coverage skills).

On a team level, center is still the top need, though that rarely gets addressed in the first. Still hoping Goodwin gets signed and we can instead go full bore BPA the whole draft.

I'm not too familiar with the prospects, but Mosley sounds legit and if he were to somehow fall I think I would have a Jarvis Jones size meltdown if we passed on him.

What I look at in mocks is not so much even the specific projection but the group that the player is in. That and who are they selecting the player over. GBN is a very legit draft site btw.

For #27
Look at the 5 picks he has before. They are all names we have been honing our lists down to-
22 Philadelphia Marqise Lee
23 Kansas City Odell Beckham
24 Cincinnati Kony Ealy
25 San Diego Bradley Roby
26 Cleveland Brandin Cooks

-all those were in our Big Board thread

Now the 5 after-

28 Carolina Cyrus Kouandjio
29 New England Louis Nix
30 San Francisco Kelvin Benjamin
31 Denver Ra'Shede Hageman
32 Seattle Kyle Fuller

Same thing with those. Kouandijo would be the only question there. I wouldn't want any of them over Mosley.

There have been threads specifically discussing whether Mosley would fall into the must-pick kinda value range. I'd say he was close if not.

#58
If Mosley wasn't at #27 then Attaochu might be a must-pick here. I rate him 4th at 3-4OLB and ahead of Ford or Shazier. Here look at the two next picks. Again, players we have discussed at this spot- Jarvis Landry then Moncrief. WRs Paul Richardson and Martavis Bryant in this area too. Centers Martin & Richburg there.

#91
A slight reach for Roberson. I like the two CBs within 4 picks after more- Jean-Baptiste and Gaines. Center Travis Swanson 8 picks later could be just as solid of a pick.

Some on this board will passout from loss of potential blood flow due to premature fapping if Cooks lasts all the way to 26 and gets picked right in front of us .

I think you can take both of them as they have totally different skillsets. I've said it before, IF someone can get Attaochu to play to his potential with his head on straight you'll get a top 10 pick. Kid has insane potential.

WRs Paul Richardson and Martavis Bryant in this area too.

Please God everyone listen to me. As a diehard Clemson fan I promise you all we want NOTHING to do with Bryant.

That's an understatement.

We can get close, but regardless of personnel moves someone is going to have to do it on the field before you can drop the Seahawks.

That D is filthy and dictates games. Our D is extremely good and has controlled games, but that D dictates games.

But wouldn't totally mind this draft. As much as I like Attouchu(sp) I'd rather take one of the 3 WRs that were picked right after us in the second round.
