Not going to lie, I'm pretty ticked. The Taints were not suppose to be able to sign him. As a matter of fact this isn't the only time this has happened. Taints keep signing players with money that magically appears out of nowhere. Something fishy is going on here. The NFL needs to investigate for salary cap violations and if so come down hard much like they did on the 98 Broncos for doing the same thing. Come on Roger Goodell, show you're good for something.

As laughable as this is, you don't think the league has a close eye on the organization already?

That's why it's laughable. As if Loomis is going to do something against the rules right in front of Goodell's face.

Lol you scumbags. Always have to resort to shady tactics to have any semblance of success. Taints are a disgrace to the NFL much like New Orleans is a disgrace to the USA, yuck.

Did they delete the thread? That's unfortunate.

No one knows our cap situation. They just keep going off these BS expert calculations.

ep. sustained success. hard to do in the NFL, but Dimitroff has done it. The truth is, even if Ryan got hurt and couldnt continue playing we could keep ourselves in contention because our offense isnt built around only him. roddy, julio, etc can keep us in contention. once we complete our line it is only easier.

These people don't realize that the cap storm is basically over

Those guys are so mad it's incredible.

One thread is nothing but them saying players hate being in New Orleans, don't want to be here, Loomis is an idiot, etc. Apparently a revolt will happen soon and all the players will rebel against the administration.

...and the meltdown continues. At one point yesterday, most of the first page were meltdown threads (some have been deleted). New ones popping up even now. I am well entertained.

the best part is how they claim we treat our players like shite and we won't be able to attract free agents like the Falcons will.

Then they bitch about how favorable Byrd's contract is for us

They are under the impression that the last 2 years cap situation extends to next offseason. We have 15 million in cap space even with Drew's $27 million. We have very few free agents too.

We have options for Jordan and Ingram, and will only have 4 contracts that don't result in cap savings via cuts on the entire team. Bunkley and Hawthorne save us over $5 million alone

Correct me if I am wrong Don't we have like 15 mil in dead money from the Smith,Harper,Greer,Moore releases that comes off the books next year

Coupled with the expected Cap Increase next year. Loomis is a madman and giggling at the experts the whole way.

Their heads are going to explode when Graham gets his deal. All of Atlanta is expecting him to be on a different team in the next two years cause we can't afford him.

All true, but that $15M doesn't account for whatever we end up paying Jimmy, whether it be with another tag or on a long-term deal we reach this offseason. To me, it would make sense if we reached a deal with him this yr that hit this yrs cap for 5-6 M, cut Bunkley June 1, sign our rookies and sign Goodwin with what's left.

Then assuming Jimmy's hit for next season is 7-10, we still have a decent amount left to use the option on Jordan and bring in some need guys.

What's underneath all of this rage is their fan base finally realizing that our GM is searching for Bobby Fischer and their's is licking his checker pieces yelling "CONNECT FOUR".
