Im planning a work outing for 7 people. Im in charge of picking a place to have drinks before dinner and then the place for dinner. Only a few have been to NOLA before and price is not a concern. Thanks for the input !

Sazerac / Domenica

If you want to be a little more gritty, Old Absinthe House / Sylvain.

Not that it matters much, but neither are in the quarter.

How about drinks at Sobou, and dinner at Sylvain or K-Paul's?

Yea, but trying to have people who aren't familiar with the 1/4 find parking and find the bar on time seems daunting. You can smell the 1/4 from the Roosevelt, doesn't that count?
