My first thought was Jazzy Jeff Duncan.

Sad part is I saw something on espn quoting bleacher report.

What happened to you world wide leader in sports. If you didn't actually show sports sometimes I'd have no reason to watch.

My first two guesses were Prisco or JJ. The only reason I recognize that name is because last year doing the Nnamdi "sweepstakes" his "sources" were saying that they believed he was signing here.
Then one day he said Nnamdi "should be wrapped up today", and a weeek later he signs with SF. I'm guessing he's one of these guys who knows someone who knows someone that works for the team, and he takes it a little too seriously.

I had Hicks graded out as a late fifth-early sixth round pick in my rankings, and just about every scouting service had him around there as well.

Whew, I'm glad pur scouts are better at their jobs than a Bleacher Report blogger.

He has the talent to be a top defensive tackle in this league, but this pick looks eerily similar to the Al Woods pick a couple of years ago.

I don't see any similarities between the two coming out of college besides they both played DT and got recruited to LSU.

i think since they got bought by turner or whatever they have actually brought in some actual sports writers and its not a bunch of chads sitting behind a computer throwing shite against the wall.

still way down the totem pole for me though.

I get that, but even still I have zero respect for most of these "sports writers" and "experts". Even the "better" places like espn is filled with a bunch of morons.

CNN dropped SI in favor of BR last year.

When that happened, I had a sad.

Guy is obviously just an all around idiot. Not susrprising because I think just about anybody can write for BR.

You could have posted and article written by your next door neighbor giving his opinion on the pick. iIt would have had the same credibility as BR

Its hilarious how people grade guys that are "unknowns". Oh we havent heard of this guy, he gets an F.

Hicks was 1 of the top JUCO players in the nation in 2009, and he was going to be starting at LSU(alongside Michael Brockers, could have been the best DT duo of all time ) had he not been caught with the recruiting violations.

And I dont get how they graded him as an F. The article even talks about how he has dominated everywhere hes been and has the talent to be an elite DT in the league. Dont understand it. You get a guy in the 3rd round that has the talent to be an elite DT in the league. Gotta give that pick an F.

to be fair that seemed like a good pick to rag on at the time, and his production has diminished
