Agreed. I was dying the last half of the show when it was back to back. I lost it when that cat was in the tub pouring champagne and all that shite

Agreed. I was laughing pretty much the entire time. And I knew there had to be some plot point when Jay mentioned that the rooms were adjoining at the beginning of the episode.

I wonder how much people enjoyed that episode because of no kids.

The butler was Stephen Merchant...he does a lot of stuff with Ricky Gervais.

I hated the first 15 minutes. But the last 15 minutes when all the shenanigans started happening was fantastic.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but I'm pumped about this.

This clip of Merchant BRINGING IT doing the Jimmy Fallon lip-sync challenge (along with Fallon and JGL) is all you need to know about SM.

One of the best episodes in quite awhile. They recaptured that season 1 magic where all 3 story lines were funny.

Pumped for this as well. Merchant is great on Hello Ladies.

I need to catch up on this season of Modern Family. My hatred for Manny has given me no urgency to watch them on Wednesdays and just record them now.

I've seen a trailer for that show and thought it looked pretty promising. It's good?

I really enjoyed it. If you like awkward/uncomfortable humor you will like it. His character in it makes Michael Scott awkwardness look tame.

FYI though, HBO already canceled it and I think they are doing a 1 hour special to end it. But it is worth watching and you can power through the episodes. Think it was only 8 or 10.

Merchant's character in Hello Ladies is pretty much the same way Gervais played David Brent in the British version of The Office.

Merchant and Phil together was great.

I really enjoy that show.

Merchant was actually in New Orleans recently. I saw him at the Irish Channel St. Paddy's parade.

Pretty unmistakable guy.

This episode really benefitted from not having any of the kids on there.

I think the writers' job gets much easier when they only have to deal with six characters as opposed to the normal 11 (or 12 if you count the baby). Things in the second half definitely clicked better than almost anything the show has put out over the last two or three seasons.
