Is calling a trip to Gulf Shores a Vacation considered trashy or just OT poor?

You can call it an extended weekend to bring the kids to the beach the weekend before school starts. But to call of a Full Blown vacation?

As an OT Baller myself, I send the help to Gulf Shores for vacations.

I wouldn't make it your vacation destination of the year

But nothing wrong with a weekend there

If you act like it is the getaway of your life then it is trashy. Nothing wrong with getting away there.

No. It's perfect when you have small kids.

no. Gulf Shores has beautiful sandy white beaches, plenty of tasty seafood restaurants, and fun bars. It's an affordable vacation spot, but it's not trashy by any stretch of the imagination.

We rent houses on the lake side of Fort Morgan. Short truck ride to the beach, but it's nice enough. 3 night min on most places.

I get drunk, have fun, and surround myself around tail. If you wanna think it's trashy because a bunch of anonymous posters say so, more power to you.

What beach trip within the US is not "Trashy"? They are all the same, rent a condo, hit the beach, do mini golf and go carts at night.

I guess Hawaii and the Keys are about the only non trashy beach trip in US.

Great yearly destination with young kids. A group of adults, there are much better places that cost around the same.

When is the OT going to move past this trashy thing. It's so played out and stupid.

It is a quick, easy, and fun getaway for people within a few hour drive. Nothing trashy about that
