Probably watched True Detective and wants to try it? Other then that I'd see no reason to look for it.

This is the second thread in like a week asking for this beer and I don't understand why either. Is it any different/better/cheaper than any other basic american lager?

To answer your question I do not think it is distributed in LA but I could be mistaken.

I've been drinking Lone Star beer for around 5 years now and would rather drink that than shitty bud light.

Plus, when in Austin, they have it for almost less than a buck some places

There have been half a dozen threads on it since True Detective came out. Don't ever recall seeing Lone Star threads before that, so I'm going to directly attribute this to True Detective.

I grabbed a 6er of it in Houston on my way to Austin one time.

Time I got to my hotel 4 of the cans were filled with pee and none with beer. It was a good damn weekend.

Besides the yellow king, the other great mystery in true detective is where does Rust get Lonestar beer in Louisiana?
