I use the 1-2-3-5-1 method. Won big a few times with it but I don't have a long track record to really say if it is viable.

Anyone have any experience with it? Same principle as this system.

I'm not a big gambler by the way but ill play some when I'm near a caino for business.

Link in the op should cover the basics. I just use a different unit count for each cycle.

I hit until I either get 21 or bust.

I split 10s.

The numbers say it all with this strategy since the idea is to bet 1 unit, 3 units, 2 units and 6 units consecutively. However, the thing to remember with the 1-3-2-6 system is that you only increase the unit sizes after a winning bet. So if you lose three bets in a row, you’ll still be wagering one unit until you win. Assuming you lose in the middle of the cycle, you would return to the one unit wager at the beginning; likewise, after completing the cycle, you’d also return to one unit bets.

Basically you are taking advantage of winning trends and mitigating losing trends in the cards. Key aspect is to predetermine how much you will win or lose before you walk away.

this is pretty close to what my friends and i do called "progressive betting." start at bet minimum, if you win a hand take back half the winning add the other half to your bet. you win again, you do the same. if you lose a hand you start over at the bet minimum. seems to do pretty well.

ive also heard of people doing it in reverse with adding your bets to every loss. but that seems like an odd way to me.

Own the casino. It is the only way to win over the long term.

Progression systems don't work without incorporating advantage play (i.e. card counting). All you are doing is riding the variance roller coaster. When you "run good" in the short term, it seems like it works.
