Very neat and funky looking.

Sill, nay.

ETA: If it said Range Rover on the front, it would be a Yea. It would need one of their engines and 4WD systems, but I'd drive the bejesus out of it. Looks like one of those off-roaders that would make you feel like a 10 year old (in a good way) every time you took it off the asphalt.

Yay, it's a small front wheel drive with locking rear axle. It's based on the fiat panda which was a badass little offroad machine.

Wouldn't own one personally, but I think they did a good job with them and will sell a ton.

Then just buy a Panda.

I know you technically can't in the US, but a 500L is the same thing.

ETA: No, a 500L isn't the same thing as a Panda. It's closer related to the Alfa Romeo MiTo. My bad.

Looks like a Jeep fricked a Mini Cooper.

Jeep quality is terrible from what I've seen. You'll be replacing the tranny at 50, 000 miles.

Not looking at buying one. Just wanted to see what people thought of it. I think it is a nice design but a little too "cute".

If Fiat keeps being awesome and making Chrysler behave themselves, I'll become a Chrysler guy in a hurry.

I don't like any Jeep that isn't a two door Wrangler, but that's just because I'm secretly a little kid that thinks every Jeep should run around killing Germans in a desert.

From the looks of it "blowing trannies" is probably a daily occurrence for the driver.

What do you base this off of?

Nothing.

Jeep has been the only brand with decent resale value Chrysler has had for a while now.

The rest are improving, but Jeep has been solid and consistent for a good long time.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was getting at. People rag on Chrysler pretty bad, but I've owned two and my family has had 6 or 7 (including my two) since 2004 and have never had an issue from any of them.

ETA: Though I admit their product was subpar when under Cerberus ownership...but so were most domestics. They've really turned it around and the numbers back that up.

They should call the new model roll out for it a "coming out party".
