I know this year's draft is loaded with WRs, but there are still plenty of free agents available: Hakeem Nicks, James Jones, Steve Smith, Emmanuel Sanders, Sidney Rice, just to name a few.

Do you guys think the position will be addressed in free agency, or just in the draft? Which FA would you realistically like to see signed here?

Most of the WRs are after a nice payday... which we cant afford.

We will address WR in the draft.

Draft. It's much cheaper.

I agree they want a payday, but I don't see Kenny Britt, Sidney Rice, or Steve Smith demanding huge contracts.

I look at WR like our CBs. CBs- PRob, White, Sweating; WRs- Stills, Toon, those on the PS.

We have a good bit of youth there and would love a legit but cheap option at WR, if one exists. Personally I like Kenny Britt.

If smith or rice could come at a reasonable price I'd be all for it.

I think Nicks is about to get overpaid.

I like Britt as well, and he won't get many better situations better than ours. I can't see him getting more than a one year vet minimum deal either. Maybe from a team with a lot of cap space like the Raiders or Browns, but that's not going to help him out with his next contract.

No they wont... but thats because Steve Smith is 34, Sidney Rice has had major injuries the past few seasons, and Kenny Britt has issues to say the least. A lot of talent, but a lot of baggage as well.

I would love to get Steve Smith, but i doubt he would become a saint he hates us.

Dont want Rice or Britt.

We will address it in the draft.

I like Britt too. He's only 25. He had 2 pretty good seasons with the Titans and thats with Kerry Collins and Vince Young as his QB.

He's supposedly visiting the Rams.

Steve Smith is a Raven, per Schefter.

According to Pro Football Focus (subscription required), Britt has been the least effective receiver in the entire NFL in 2013. With a -9.6 overall rating, he is ranked 108th out of a possible 108 eligible wide receivers.

Britt has only recorded eight receptions on 24 targets and is responsible for four dropped passes so far this season (written at the end of October). Those kind of numbers beg the question: What happened to the wide receiver who recorded 42 receptions for 775 yards and nine touchdowns in 12 games just four years ago?

Perhaps Britt just quit on the team.

However, looking at it from another angle, maybe Britt just never recovered from a serious injury back in 2011.

So what's this guy's problem?
He had two great seasons, then two abysmal seasons.

Injuries? 4 different QBs (Collins, Young, Hasselbeck, Locker)?

Yes, I have options already.

I'm asking for opinions.
4 QB's don't explain it.

I'm not really a fan of any of the remaining FA Wide Receivers, well those in our price range at least. Good thing the draft is loaded at Wide Receiver this year, and that we pick before Carolina, since they will draft multiple Wide Receivers after losing their top 4.

I started a discussion a while back about taking a chance on Britt. Let's just say some on this board were not okay with that.

I don't know what you guys see in Britt.

What makes you think he'll turn it around?
