Does anyone else notice that some people love to post bad news?

There are some people here that LOVE to be the bearer of bad news. If I get an alert on my phone about a shooting or a missing person, sure enough I can log on here and someone has already posted about it. It's like some weird contest of who can be the first to post the most about the recent tragedy.

Just an observation. Struck me as odd.

I made the thread as good news that no one died.

Why you so mad?

Yet you get notifications on your phone about the same thing. They post it because people like you wanna know about it

I think you summed it up quite well.

Yeah, I have a news app that sends updates about what's going on in the world. My point is that some of you people scramble to see who can be the first to post about it on TD. Big difference.

You ever checked the Wikipedia page of a celebrity moments after his or her death is reported?

I hereby propose a moratorium on bad news and order a punishment for posters who post bad news as a minimum of quality NSFW posts with a minimum of 15 exhibits for the common OT poster to enjoy.

How do you know what other posters are doing? How do you know they don't just see something interesting and post about it to spread the news about it. It's a forum board. Thats what you do.
