SIAP--but Musberger--really?
Is it just me, or does anyone else cringe at the thought of this?

Palmer knows his stuff.

Musberger is just getting old, and has called very few SEC games before.

Fine with me. Palmer is the groovy guy who the youngsters are hip to, and Musberger is the steady rock that the Reagan generation can lean on with confidence.

Now get off my lawn.

Musburger is terrible. I'm fine with Palmer.

I am totally with you. My least favorite play by play man is BM.

I like Palmer but Musburger is on the Gary/Verne level as far as irritating me goes.

Is Brett related to Brent? Brent Musberger is 74 years old! He is even older than I am!

I would think ESPN would want someone that would last a long time.

ESPN could have announced that Garrison Keillor and Casey Kasem are announcing the SECN games but for most of us it currently doesn't matter.

Why?

The SEC Network has yet to sign a single cable television service provider to a distribution deal.

Think of how much we can learn about the Pac-12 each week listening to Brent. Nothing but upside.

Maybe Musberger will get the players and coaches names right, unlike Verne.
