Don't have an issue with either of em. Palmer knows his stuff. I don't love Musberger, but if he's calling your game, it means you're playing in one of the games of the week.

It would be difficult to find a worse announcer than Mush-mouth unless you love the left coast and believe that whichever player made the last play is "the best player in all of college football" (or whatever sport is being covered). It's been well over a dozen years since he has been among the top 10-15 announcers. I avoid games he is calling whenever possible.

Say what you want I prefer Verne to Musberger and his sidekick best of all Gary Danielson.

At least we will not have announcers dredging up old shite players got into. They only did this to LSU and not Alabama, Ole Miss, USC, or Auburn. Did it to Honey Badger and Jeremy Hill and Spencer Ware and Jefferson. Disgusting.

Musberger,at 74, has to be the oldest sports announcer outside of Dickie V & he exudes the energy & excitement of a plant. Why take some one that age to open up a new sports network, especially one as big as the SEC network will be. ESPN has now hired Finebaum, Tebow and now Musberger as part of their new network. Perhaps ESPN has borrowed the same idiots in the SEC league office in charge of scheduling to hire its on screen talent.

Worse than Musbergor? Really? He makes more mistakes, says more incredibly inane, downright stupid things, than any other announcer.
He mispronounces names, calls out the wrong player, in a game last year he called the QB on the field the name of the opposing QB for the first 3 plays of a drive, I don't know why it took that long for the producer or someone to correct him.
