Too much risk involved... get rid of a future Hall of Famer who still has several good years left in the tank for an unproven player who might be great, but who also could be a bust? Nah, that's not a smart move at all. There's always plenty of talent to be found in later rounds/free agency, and the Saints are known for finding great players who are relatively unknown.
