I've tried calling Waste Management and seems like all i ever get is some idiot somewhere else in the country that has no idea what i'm asking for or how to get an answer for me.
I want to know if i can bring the junk striaght to the landfill in Walker, can't seem to get an answer on that.

I have a washing machine, couch and bed that need to be thrown away. Anybody know of a place you can bring this to?

I am interested in this also. Is there a big dumpster somewhere?

Have you tried sitting it out by the road?

A metal scrap guy will get the washing machine... Cross your fingers on the couch and bed.

I put an old grill and ceiling fan by the road Sunday. It was gone 30 minutes later.

When I lived in Prairieville, anything I wanted to get rid of, I put at the end of the driveway in the morning and it would be gone by the end of the day.

Just put it to the curb. The City will pick it up if it doesn't get snagged by a dude in a pickup truck first.

This is what you pay all of those property taxes for. Let the trash guy do his job.

Hmmm. Darn, this is a pickle. Have you tried a large garbage can yet?

that won't last 30 minutes on the curb. Hell I pick those up from time to time for the transmissions and timers so I can rebuild them or to refurb them.

There's an empty lot out in Ascension parish owned by a family LLC. It's fenced in, but would make for a great dump site.

The landfill in North EBR (off of 61) is free to EBR residents.
