This could be legit. Written by Alfonso Cuaron. Should definitely be worth a look.

Anyone else watching?

I'll DVR. I don't need to know anything other than Cuaron and Abrams are involved.

I started watching Fringe, I'm halfway through season three. That makes me potentially interested in this.

yeah.. but the last 2 shows by Bad Robot have kinda fallen short for me. Almost Human and Revolution both just kinda.. fizzled (now I'll give you Almost Human has, and probably will only have, 13 episodes, while Revolution has had more bad episodes than Almost Human has had full episodes.. and Almost Human is decent, just not PoI or Fringe good) but I am actually looking forward to Believe, and I'm recording it to make sure I don't miss it.

ETA: I was much more impressed with Sleepy Hollow than Almost Human this season, with that in mind, I still haven't watched the season finale of Sleepy Hollow, while I have watched all the Almost Human (because I find it easier to watch procedural shows nowadays)

From the wiki link:
quote:

The series follows Bo, a young girl who was born with special abilities that she cannot control, and as they start evolving, the people who are protecting her must turn to an outsider. This leads them to Tate, a wrongfully convicted death-row inmate, whom they break out of prison. Although he is reluctant to take on the role as her protector, the two eventually form a bond that will guide them to helping each other as well as others while staying one step ahead of the evil forces that want the girl.

I thought that the teaser commercials looked good enough to give this a try.

Didn't try Almost Human, but Revolution and Alcatraz both started off with promise and "fizzled", as you put it. I just quit watching both and don't regret it at all.

I'll probably DVR tonight, give it a shot, and see if it's gonna be a winner. If it follows the trend of the others, I'll just stop.

I feel like JJ Abrams just watched Looper and thought to himself "Hey, a TV show about The Rainmaker would be a great idea, but we'll make it a little girl instead."
