I have refused to upgrade mine for well over a year(when I got my s3). As a pizza guy, the zoom buttons were very necessary. Then they finally got those on the new version but the ads and bullshite are annoying.

The indoor 360 shots alone make it worthwhile. Awesome feature for restaurant selection!

I've been beta testing it for months. It's gotten better over time but I agree with you and and even said that I thought some of the stuff was just in the way. It's not as bad as it was FWIW.

I like the concept, but it was poorly executed. I don't think any design that requires more mouse movement is progress.
I hope Apple didn't steal all their map employees.
