Scarface was on today and we thought this song was awesome: Push it to the Limit. We thought it sounded like some joke song from South Park.

I wonder why that would be?

No more popular than any one of Frank Stallone's songs--which is to say, not very popular at all.

It wasn't. That kind of uptempo club beat was popular for awhile but this got lost in the shuffle IMHO.

Not really. Typical movie soundtrack song, and was in another movie I can't remember. It's the quintessential 80's "montage" song, and the basis for South Park's "You Need a Montage" song spoofing them. Listen to the similarities.

We'll, it was no "Eye of the Tiger", that's for sure.

Seriously, I never heard that outside of Scarface. Wasn't there some really cheesy song in the ski scenes for Better off Dead kind of like that too? It seems like it too had a forgettable song in it, which was odd since that movie actually had some good songs in it.

That's a terrible song, wasn't popular at all. I love eighties music but that one needs to stay in the eighties.

Well, I know it's an awesome song to listen to when you're running from the cops in GTA.

I was trying to avoid being rude while still getting my info.

The shorts that those 80s guys wore though, that's just crazy. No clue how that ever became a thing.

I never heard of it although that sound was very popular in the mid-80s.
