Not actually cash, but a $100 visa gift card.

Here the deal, all you have to do is download the nike running app and join me. There needs to be a minimum of 10 participants for the cash to be involved.. Other "donations" for the pot welcome but doubt that.

Simply put first to hit 100 miles in March gets the $.

Other prizes:
-you get to use your free time productively.
-can help you quit smoking or drinking as much
-help you to not be a fatass
-more energy throughout the day

This is no charity. I get nothing from this bc I'm doing it with or without yall. Just trying to motivate some of you to give it a try. It's fun. Exclusive only to TD.com members.

I'll definitely do it. I have been looking for some motivation to get running again.

Will we be able to see each other's progress? How do I join?

Just post your nike+ app name/email or whatever and we'll all just add one another.

On the nike+ app it you can look at people's runs and routes and stuff. There's also other achievements and stuff and personal records and whatnot that you can break.

To be anonymous (on this site) you can just email me @ brbwilliams8@aol.com and I'll get each of us added and stuff.

Ok. I will download it. I haven't been running at all so this will be a good motivator.

Even if you don't hit the 100 mile mark you can still hit a ton of achievements and get badges for things. (Consecutive runs, beating time/pace/distance, runs per week, holiday, etc.) you can google the badges. It makes running fun. I've always been a "I'd rather play sports than run for no reason" type of person... But let's be real, we aren't playing sports as often as we did, if anymore at all.

It's not a requirement. It's just a general goal. 100 gets platinum, 50 gets gold then silver and bronze. Whatever you do will motivate you to do better.

i like this idea......I did something similar over the summer with the run for 1 million thing (group trying to raise 1 million dollars for the green beret foundation)

it was pretty much a virtual race, and you would submit your times with a picture of your route (gps, map my run...), and they had a 1 mile run, 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon, and 50 mile run, or you could sign up for all of them.

I think you had 10 days to complete your runs and submit proof......I did all of them (100.1 miles), and it was pretty tough getting that in 10 days with work and other things going on.

Wait, do we all collectively have to hit 100 miles or hit 100 by ourselves in the month of March?

Collectively? 10 people would only have to run 10 miles/month.

The individual goal is 100 miles.
