Don't get me wrong, I like the team and all that, but the bats make the game pretty boring to me.

I'll probably watch a good bit more next season if the new balls work.

They fricked up the game by over reacting and now they are dialing it back a little. Whattaya gonna do?

It's definitely not as exciting as it used to be. I still go to a lot of games because I'm a student and love going but I wouldn't watch it on tv unless it was Omaha.

Its just a different style of game. I can watch it. I do prefer the old game and I think they will navigate back as attendance suffers in most places

what's unwatchable is the rant overrun by dumb threads following an undefeated weekend.

I wouldn't say "unwatchable" but it isn't nearly as exciting a game without the ability to change the game with every swing of the bat. Maybe the old bats were a little too big but the NCAA overreacted & now it has changed the face of the college game. I think they are seeing the error of their ways & are trying to find a happy medium between the "Gorilla Ball" of the South & small ball of the "Left Coast".
I'm a college baseball fan, so I'll watch te game regardless of the bat or ball but it has lost some luster since all of the changes.

With the old bats, that pop up near the stands yesterday would have ended up in the bleachers. No top 10 play for Kramer. So I like the bats.

Good point. Changing the entire nature of the college game is justified because of one exciting play.

Since it is a bat thread, is it by rule they can't use wooden bats?

Nope. Still watch every game. Whether I'm there or TV. It's still LSU baseball.
