Surprised that the jury couldn't agree on 2nd Degree Murder or even Manslaughter, if they found him guilty of Attempted Murder.

Attempted murder on the 3 guys that lived, but nothing for the kid that dies. Holy shite this is pathetic. Wow. Dude fired 10 shots into a car of unarmed teenagers.

there's no point in trying to understand juries.

so he tried to kill him, but they weren't convinced that he killed him even though he's dead?

trayvon's family's attorney is on cnn right now... if you want to see

"it was a hoodie with trayvon, it was loud music here. what will it come to next time? when a young black male winks at someone?"

Doesn't make any sense. So he tried to kill them all, but he's guilty on the ones where he failed and not guilty on the one where he succeeded?

The other thing that doesn't make sense is giving attempted murder a reduced penalty. He basically gets rewarded not for being less of a bad person, but for sucking at being a bad person.

I don't understand how they could find him guilty of attempted first degree murder 3 times but not find him guilty on the first degree murder charge

They said that there were two vollies. The first killed the kid and the jury was probably hung on whether that was self defense. The second volley as they were driving away was attempted murder.

the fact that they are even trying to connect these cases is pathetic enough as it is

the only reason either of these stories are getting attention is because they occurred in a state that allows trials to be broadcast on TV, so the "news" use it to drive ratings

In Florida? Check. Old white dude shooting at black "kids"? Check.

TRAYVON PART II!!

I think in FLA, a jury cannot give a lower charge, it's up to the prosecutor to make the charges. This is how that chick Kasey got off.

Well, they are a lot alike.

Except that Zimmerman is Hispanic and Dunn is white.

And Zimmerman called po-po before the confrontation while Dunn went home and ate a pizza like nothing happened.

And Zimmerman was getting his head beat into the sidewalk while Dunn was simply offended by loud music.
