Brunch Opinions: Coquette vs. Martinique vs. La Petite Grocery

I'll be choosing one of the above three for brunch Sunday and am looking for opinions. We typically go to Patois, Dante's Kitchen or Atchafalaya when in New Orleans on Sunday mornings. Any experiences with the three choices? TIA.

La Petite would be my choice out of those three. If they have the rabbit dish on the menu Sunday somebody in your party has to get it. It's boss.

Are those the best brunches in NOLA?
Or do we need a thread?
If only I was coming to NOLA, I'd start one!

The brunch menu at Martinique looks pretty damn good.

I like the food at Coquette a bit more than Martinique though Martinique is solid. Won't go back to Coquette due to a rotten server and a total a-hole of a host. Never been to LPG. My favorite of those you mentioned is Patois.

La Petit is good, but I think Coquette is the best.
I went for brunch back in November and had a great meal.
Martinique is a step down from the other two. IMO.

Wasn't that the time that the dishes were basically one bite each? Go ahead and post the pictures.

I gotta say I've been less than impressed at La Petite the past two times I went for brunch. Don't remember what I had because it was forgettable.

The dishes weren't small. I'm looking at the pictures, but can't upload to Photobucket.
The smoked catfish app was unbelievable, as was the rabbit stew.
I really enjoy La Petit but Coquette is better. Period.

Not to dissaude you from your options, but add Apolline to your brunch rotation. It's worth a try.

He didn't ask about brunch theory.

Thanks, and I do agree that brunch is overpriced, generally. This is for my wife's birthday, though, and brunch can be a regular value for those who stay away from $25 egg dishes.
