when you know for a FACT they never came near your home? I've been waiting on a package all day and tracking it on line...was out for shipment this morning. Work form home and never left...here the whole day. Finally got tired of waiting on it and logged on at 8pm yo see WTF was up only to find out the UPS driver was claiming that he had made an attempt and no one was home.

frick that guy.

No note, not knock, no ring...no guy ever came to my house. Called UPS who asked if I wanted to pick up the package at the distribution hub tomorrow...which, you know...sounds like a great plan to ask a customer to drive across town to pick up a package from a delivery company after having one of their drivers lie about making a delivery on a package being shipped 2nd day.

Yes...I mad.

Anyone ever have UPS pull this shite?

May have tried to bring it to the wrong house. No one answered.

My fedex guy never ever knocks. Just jumps out, slaps the "missed delivery" sticker on the door and speeds off. I've heard him stop in front of the house, and he's gone before I can get to the door. It's insane.

Nah...the package didn't need a signature. I have Amazon Prime and get stuff delivered so much that the drivers can find my place in the dark. Deliveries for me are almost always late in the afternoon or evening, which is why I didn't looking on line until after 8. My guess is the guy dind;t get to me, and there is simply no box to check for, "Had too much shite to deliver...frick that guy...I'll get to his house tomorrow" and had to check the only option available.

Just curious if this has happened to anyone else.

Believe it or not, UPS drivers sometimes try to deliver to the wrong address. Cut him some slack.

Asked if you wanted to ... did not tell you that you had to. There's a difference.

Just tell them to redeliver and be done with it.

The UPS guys usually do this, but at least they chuck the package at the door before they run off. But it's usually without even a knock, despite their being a vehicle in the driveway.

Walk out my house later to trip over a box at the door I didn't know was there.

Nah, but the cable TV guy did that once. I had one of those 8-12 appointments and was waiting by the door from 730-noon. Called and they claimed that he came at 8 and no one answered.

That's why you always overnight drugs, they are too worried about getting it to its destination on time than properly screening it

It's possible I guess if it's a new driver...but given how much shite I get delivered there's no way a regular guy could miss it.

I did...just hoping they actually get it here tomorrow, otherwise it'll be Monday after having paid for 2nd day.

They're timed using GPS and other means, UPS works people like slaves and yes their drivers do this to keep from getting a "mark" on their record.

Yeah, I bought a text book when I was in school and it was supposedly delivered to my address but I never received it. The delivery guy came to my house and said that he had left it on front doorstep. A week later a guy in neighborhood brought the package to me and said that it was delivered to his home while he was out of town. It had been left in the weather and the book was ruined. Company sent me another book

Yes. I've had them report a package as delivered and not deliver it until the next day. I've had them stick attempt to deliver notices on my door when I was home and would have heard the doorbell, which works. I always call and complain.
