Nope. Whoever delivers to my place is like a fricking clock. 6:30 give or take ten minutes and my stuff is at my door.

That being said, when I lived elsewhere, I had one motherfricker try to deliver something mid-afternoon that required a signature, checked the box and asked for a later delivery only to get the same "I was here at 1 pm" bullshite letter anyway and had to be at the distribution point at 5 am to get my package. frick that delivery guy any way possible. arse cancer would be good.

The one who delivers to my place now, though, that guy is a goddamned champ. Right on time, every time.

ETA: Never had one flat out lie about trying to make a delivery, though.

Happens all the time to me. A lot of lazy arse drivers just wait until a slow day to deliver packages. My current apt is the furthest street in his delivery route.

This happened to me once and it was because it was delivered to a neighbor.

No, but I've watched a delivery guy walk halfway to my door and hurl a box to my step while I was watching from my office window and have to walk outside and ask if he knew for sure that what was in the box wasn't broken. He looked like he just got caught by his grandma while wacking it.

Had this happen 2 weeks ago, got the delivery email and checked the website and it said delivered. One of the many times I was glad that I have cameras on my house. I had the video of the truck driving by and never even slowing down. I filed a complaint after 2 days (have to wait that long to file it) and mentioned that I had the video, and then magically they found my packages and delivered them "again" the next day.

idk what sort of rules they have, but if you know what day he will be coming, leave a signed note on the door saying you authorize ups to leave the package if you aren't home. the driver where I live will do that, they take the note as your signature

when you know for a FACT they never came near your home?

Yes, except I ACTUALLY SAW THE TRUCK pause by my house, and then just turn down the side street. thirty minutes later the status said "delivery exception--customer not home"

Driver was probably just mad because I provided instructions to leave the package at the back door.

I had a delivery that, per UPS's website, was "out for delivery" 4 days in a row. After the second day, I had to call Amazon and they immediately sent me a new package at no additional cost. It was frustrating to see "out for delivery" every day only to never get my package. I think it was somehow lost, but at least the driver never lied.

I prefer Fedex to UPS because I have far more problems with UPS at my house. I tried to get Amazon to only send me packages via Fedex, but they just choose whatever is cheapest for them, which I cannot fault.

I had this happen twice. Once they delivered the package to a completely different address in a different neighborhood altogether. After two weeks of fighting, the guy who lived there was nice enough to drive to my house and drop it off. The second was one where they claimed to deliver it. I was home the whole day, never did they pass by my neighborhood. I had to file a complaint, and tell my card company to dispute the charge. Ended up that they credited my account for the purchase. But the second time, UPS swore they did drop off package. I haven't had luck with the post office either.

Yes. Dumb arse driver held a package overnight twice on me. Problem is the packages were shipped overnight and the were cold packages that held meds. Both times the meds were hot and no good. Each time, was $3000 lost. They ate the cost.

FedEx driver took a heavy package(60lbs) and put it on the hood of my truck and slide it across. Scratched the living shite out the hood. Had to call them and make a claim. Over $500 to repair it, but they made it good.

Ups, no. Now fed ex has done this once. I called and raised Holy hell at 4 pm when I logged in to check status and said delivery attempt had been made. I was home all day. They allowed me to go to the distribution center to pick up my package. It was still on the truck.
