I think he's gonna be a designated June 1 cut. It'll open up about $5mil in cap room that way.

wouldn't surprise me.

2014 will be his 9th season in the league.

he's 30 years old.

good at run defense but not great.

With the way John Jenkins has played he deserves to start. Bunkley was injured too much.

yeah.

that is a possibility too.

but I want to say that Bunkley, Hawthorne, and Grubbs restructured their deals last year.

I guess he could do it again because of where he is in his career though.

Bunkley is not someone I'd consider necessary.

But he's good.
I wonder how fat Jenkins is coming along.

You're so petty about this. How about you go back to sucking LeBron off on the MSB and let the grown ups talk. Thanks.

Right. As a straight up cut it doesn't make sense as he saves only save $1.3 mil, but as a June 1st cut(which won't help us now but will later on in free agency or with cap carry over) he saves $4.5 mil.

Still possible he agrees to a pay cut though. I guess the others guys didn't want to(again in Smith and Harper's case; can't say I blame them).

Looking at Over the Cap, cutting PT and Sproles save you $6.4 m while only costing you $750K in dead money.

Saints have to ask if their production can be replaced for such valuable cap space.

I hope not. He's a good player, but not worth what we're paying him, currently. I like Jon Jenk too, but we need to keep depth at NT! Good thing about players like Hicks, they can play End and NT

He'll probably be cut. He's seen better days.

Best hands in the league though man. Serious as a heart attack. He will catch anything thrown at him.

Except a contract
