Free Press Summer Fest Houston Lineup Announced

Probably wouldn't travel for this, but since I live walking distance I will be out there. They have been doing a ton of work to the Allen Parkway area so it will be interesting to see if the setup is different this year.

I'm going to try to make it 4 years in a row. Been a good run the last 3. Not a great lineup compared to previous years.

im disappointed in this year's lineup. think i will skip it this year, actually. only way I go is if a friend lets me crash at their place and only thing im paying for is the pass. idk that its worth a hotel room too.

It has some solid acts, can't wait for Jack White. But overall it is disappointing. I couldn't see anyone traveling for this, but seeing that I live a 1/2 mile walk from the fest, I'll be there for the 3rd year running.
I'm curious how much money has to do (if not everything) with the acts they got this year. Outkast is doing a summer tour to what seems like every festival other than FPSF (
). You look at a Hangout Fest and see the quality of that lineup vs FPSF and wonder if money is the issue. I know the board of FPSF lobbied to the city trying to make it a 3-day event, but they couldn't get the approval.

100% disagree. The lineup is weak compared to what they've been rolling out.
That being said, I'm still going. I can walk to the entrance in like 10 minutes, so might as well go.
