From LSU:
quote:

With the 2014 Baseball season starting this Friday, LSU would like to notify fans of a change in post-game traffic procedures. The LSU Athletic Department along with the LSU Police Department have adjusted post-game contra-flow traffic exit routes due to the addition of parking spaces on the east side of Alex Box Stadium and a reduction of parking spaces on the west side of the stadium.

Vehicles exiting the Hall of Fame and Home Run Village lots via Gourrier Avenue will be directed west to River Road. For these lots, both lanes of traffic on Gourrier Avenue will be directed one-way to River Road. Cars in the left lane on Gourrier will be required to turn left (south) onto River Road toward Brightside Lane. Cars in the right lane will be required to turn right (north) onto River Road toward Skip Bertman Drive and downtown.

Vehicles exiting the Hall of Fame and Home Run Village lot may also exit at the back of the Hall of Fame lot through the U-High athletic facility. This exit connects with Skip Bertman Drive. Once onto Skip Bertman Drive vehicles may turn left or right, exiting in any direction. Please note a city sewage project will limit access to this exit route at some point during the season for a brief period.

Just leave a little early (7th inning stretch) and it won't be a problem.

Just take Burbank to Gourrier, then scoot up to LSU Ave/Stanford and you're on i10 in 5 minutes.

There will be a new Tradition TAF Alumni Gerry Lane Heritage Road Preservation Mike the Tiger Fee-Donation of $11,000 for each guest who previously drove home for no cost. This money will be used to offset administrative fees.

Just bring a flask and wait until 10 min after the game.

Best of both worlds.

I usually just go a block down burbank and u-turn. Then get back to Nich and take a right. Just kills me we can't take a left on Nich.

Did they build a pedestrian bridge yet to go over Nicholson? No that would make too much sense...

No, they gave us a wooden beam instead... Walk the plank!

I'm pretty sure you can't put a footbridge over a highway.

The best is when it rains for a few days before the game and the plank is halfway submerged. Always good for a few laughs after the game when someone goes in the ditch

I'm actually quite proud of my record getting over that thing before and after games. It's like a badge of honor.
