They should have opened up another location in South BR years ago.

The family/owners are all too busy fighting and suing each other to do a new location.

I don't understand why, I realize they stay busy but business would increase tenfold

In their earlier article, the idiot reporters for WAFB actually thought that Tony's might even be considering moving their entire operation to this Perkins Road location. Whoever wrote that has obviously never seen Tony's operation on Plank Road.

Tony's Seafood Market and Deli has no current plans to open a new location in Baton Rouge

So there is still a chance that they open in St. George.

because they dont need to. That's always been their stance. They are printing money in a paid for location. Why move when they know people will drive to them?

I get why they'll never leave that area for their main distribution area, makes sense. I don't get why they seem so against opening a smaller secondary location though.

They will never open another location. That's a fact. Whoever started that rumor has either terrible sources (most likely) or was simply trying to drive suitors for Perkins Rowe (highly likely as well) Those are some great people over there and they should be commended for staying in that area.
