Rant Meltdown- Peveto up for LSU ST Coach

It is said to be between Peveto, Mike Haywood and Manny Diaz.
I like Diaz myself...young, energetic, but is a flight risk in a yr or two
Haywood has always been a great coach...had that one issue at Pitt but would be solid.
Peveto....Mehh
Say it aint Peveto

Would not be against it. Dude was a good recruiter.

Rather the position go unfilled. Seriously, that list of names would be hard pressed to be worse.

Hire the recruiter and motivator.
Rarely does anything else matter coaching ST... unless you're too thickheaded to realize your opponent can actually run that +50YD field goal back to win the game.

I am surprised he is even on the list, dude is a liability.

I said it in another thread, so I'll say it here. I want none of them. If I had to pick I'd take Diaz.

Too young to remember What did he do??

Peveto was on our 07 NC staff. Obviously DC responsibilities were above his capabilities, but he was probably doing a great job before he received that promotion. Cam and many other great coordinators have failed as head coaches, that doesn't mean they can't succeed in lesser roles. Peveto failed as a DC, that doesn't mean he can't do a great job in a lesser role.

Peveto!!!!! I don't give a shite about the failed DC fiasco, that fricker can recruit his arse off especially the Golden Triangle! I also heard a rumor he could be up for the Lamar head coaching job when it comes open.

Again, LSU has at least 4 worthy candidates to replace one of its coaches.
Hayward is a very interesting situation and seems to be the biggest risk vs reward. Either, way he doesnt seem like a long termer here. Im not sure how the Mom's would react to him as a recruiter. This is major baggage. But his expertise in overall coaching would be a valuable asset. He could teach all the coaches a few things. Somebody will hire him sooner or later so this is a rare opportunity. Its not every day u can get an up and coming HC to come aboard as a ST coach.
Jaluke's coaching and recruiting ability can not be taken lightly. We could have him here for quite a while.
Peveto understands the culture and can recruit he should blend in immediately.
Diaz- No idea about this guy, but he was good enough to talk Brown into giving him a shot at DC, which is still a head scratcher, so he should be able to recruit.
Maybe we should do a poll on this.
