LINK

Not pre-made meals like a lot of the other delivery services; they instead send you everything pre-packaged and you do all the making of the meals.

Was wondering if anyone had tried this. Looks to be between $12-$18 a dinner, which is expensive, but not outrageous

I don't know the delivery; I got it in Miami, and since this is my go to place for food questions I came here.

Put in 33132 to see what kind of menu they have if you are interested

Edit: Sorry they don't deliver your way, I was hoping someone in LA had done it (since 90% of people on this board are in that area)

If it was available here I'd probably try it once. Menu looks good.

They deliver here but at $15 a plate, I don't think I would try it.

John Besh is doing something similar. You get a meal a month, I think, to put together yourself.

The wife signed up for it last week and I think it's comes in the mail this week. I'll report back with the details when we get it.

The Besh Box isn't exactly like this. It sends a few ingredients along with a few tools and some seeds to plant for future boxes. It also gives a few recipes, which are suggestions to use with what you get in the box. I bought a subscription for my wife for Christmas and she has really enjoyed it so far.

This plate of food probably costs less than a couple of bucks, and they sell it for fifteen?

Actually, this seems like a fun concept because it will prompt people to cook in ways that they haven't before, and I especially like the Besh box idea of planting seeds for upcoming meals.
