Seems unlikely we don't get a bid unless we completely fall apart. We are projected as a 12th seed right now and if we continue to play like we have lately, will only move up in the seeding rankings.

Gotta win these next few winnable games. Cannot go and lay an egg on the road Thursday.

Although I might be counting our chikens before they hatch, we should be 19-6 by the time we play Kentucky again. I think we're in good shape.

What about this team makes you feel comfortable in saying we can win on the road

This is a legit question.

The team is jelling and getting better. They need to continue to grow. No game is a given, especially on the road.

The potential is there and we're seeing it now. If the team lives up to it, you're looking at 2 more losses in the regular season and that's it.

Very ture. I just hate how high and low everyone gets after wins and losses. This team is and can be good. But the physical style they play will rack up more fouls for them on the road, especially for martin and mickey

Must win the games we are supposed to win, and likely still need a game or two in the conference tournament , absent a big upset of Fla or Kentucky.

LSU could do this. None of those teams are any good. LSU could just as easily lose a couple of them on the road.

Louisiana freight train coming through!!

Johnny Jones & co are doing some great coaching and these players are really coming together.

I won't get my hopes up until I see this progress carry over to a road game. This is a good team and a fun team to watch but the losses to ole miss and bama hurt.

This team is reminding me of the Stromile/Jabari days.

Most exciting team at LSU to watch since then IMO.

Is your middle name 'wet blanket'?

I understand tempering exuberance. But just being fearful of a loss, when a bit of optimism is expected is pure dumbassitude.

If someone talks about winning at Florida, by all means talk them down.

St Joes just beat UMASS which should jump them into the top 50 and give LSU 3 top 50 wins as it stands.

No. All we have to do is play to the level we have been playing at. An unexpected loss or two won't hurt us. It happens in basketball. Sometimes you beat teams you shouldn't beat and sometimes you upset teams you are expected to lose to. The committee knows that. What happens in the SEC tourney won't matter unless we go on a losing streak before the SEC tourney and are on the bubble, which at this time we aren't.

I think we could easily make it up to an 8 or a 9 seed if we keep playing at this level. We have looked as good as Florida of late, but keeping it up will be a problem. Basketball is just a streaky sport like that.
