Did you get paid today?

If so, is your paycheck higher than you expected? I am wondering if taxes changed this year to cause this. I'm not complaining, but I haven't gotten my stub in the paper mail yet. Bizarre.

No this is a month where you get three paychecks so things like insurance and whatnot don't get taken out like usual

Do you get insurance deducted from your check? Some companies only take out of two checks, so you end up with a little extra on the third check in the 2 months with the extra paycheck. For me, that was today.

I got paid on the 15th but I don't really check.
Just went back and looked and my paycheck is $4 higher than the end of last year. Four Dollars.

Ahh that is probably it. I forgot there are 3 paychecks this month. This should be confirmed when I see the stub. Yeah my insurance gets deducted.

I only get paid once a month... My paycheck went down $5.03

Mine too. Federal income tax. Everything else is in line with what I was expecting.

Mine is a good bit lower. Social Security is being taken out again.

i only get 2 paychecks this month....upcoming friday and the 21st
