He is a FA and still wants to kick. One of the most consistent kickers of all time.

Nah. I'd rather remember his legacy as a Patriot.

Yeah, but didn't he have a pretty bad year last year?

Vinatieri proved this season that he still has a few years left in his leg, making 35 of 40 field-goal attempts and all 34 extra points for 139 points.

His 40 attempts ranked third in the league, and he was 4 of 6 on kicks from at least 50 yards and 15 of 17 on kicks between 40-49 yards.

If this is a terrible year, Hartley had a historically bad one.

I like FAs Hauscka, Gano, and Folk more. They're younger enough to still have miles left or upside in front of them.

When they get to the ancient age range then you start gambling on when they fall off. That's what Shayne Graham is to me. He can still kick. But how far for how long is a ?

This says otherwise. One of the most clutch playoff kickers of all time? Yeah. Almost no kicker is as consistent as you think they are and there is a reason most guys don't last more than a couple of seasons(or guys change teams like underwear).

That passer rating is off the charts though.
