“Did that make you feel better about yourself? Then go ahead. Because I’m not worried about you,” Kaepernick said, via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.

Kaepernick had several other choice words for Sherman, including:

— “He’s afraid of our receivers, and that’s something I’m looking forward to [exploiting] next year.”

— “If I throw that ball one foot farther, it’s a TD and now you’re the goat, Richard Sherman.”

— “His comments were ridiculous. If you have to tell people how good you are, then how good are you really?”

I just love it because it makes these teams hate each other even more. Although, there is a lot of irony in what Kaepernick says. This was my favorite comment under the article...
quote:

Yeah Kaepernick, just like you mocked Cam Newton in Carolina? Did THAT make you feel better?

He clearly isn't...

But you didn't, and it wasn't

easy for a QB to say.

CBs, LBs, linemen, etc don't typically get known nationally unless they either make a huge play in the playoffs or pop off to the media.

Sherman was able to pull off both in one fell swoop.

I can think of one guy who told people he was the greatest. So yea you can be really good and still feel the urge to tell folks about it. Makes you a narcissist but doesn't mean you're not the best.

A lot of "ifs" in those statements.

Bottom line is he didn’t win, and that's why he's watching the Super Bowl instead of playing in it.

If he threw it a foot further, then Sherman would have intercepted it on his own. Sherman had Crabtree completely beat and had to adjust back to the ball since it was underthrown.

I don't think he is

True, but that didn't happen

Agree... Humility is a very admirable trait to have and Sherman barely has an inkling.

holy shite this guy is so butt hurt. Can't he just admit Sherm made a great play and they lost?

And...

— “He’s afraid of our receivers, and that’s something I’m looking forward to [exploiting] next year.”

Kaepernick was scared to throw at Sherm the entire game, and when they did, they lost..

typical thug POS comments

I don't mind the other quotes that much but hearing athletes use "if" statements is annoying.

but you didn't. also, if you threw it further, no chance Sherman adjusts too?

Kaep sucked in that game.

Meh, Sherman is still pretty good. I don't have a problem with cornerbacks being arrogant. Even the best at their positions fail the majority of plays. You have to be a legend in your own mind to be any good at the position.

Kaep doens't get to talk shite after Sherman made him his bitch.
