Do you think JOB, Mickey or Martin try for the NBA next season?

Martin, no – too inconsistent

Mickey, no – He's not 5 in the NBA, probably not even a 4.

JOBIII, maybe – but only because he's probably tired of college

I think Mickey's all but a lock. Possibly a Lottery pick.

Martin would benefit from coming back for at least one more year.

JOB III? I'm at a loss. Great college player, not real sure how his skill set will translate to the NBA.

Martin will be back.

JOB - big, strong, and physical that runs pretty well. He could. But I think he returns,

Mickey is the 1 im most worried about. Been great all year and has improved his stock all year, and the arrow is still pointing up.

Martin - back (probably as close to a sure thing as you can get)
Mickey - 50/50. I think he leaves if LSU makes the NCAAT.
JOB - I think JOB comes back. He's one of those players where that 4th year of college will actually help his draft stock.

Mickey is far from a lotto lock. I love his game but at 6'8 he can't play the 5 and will be tough playing the 4. He really needs another year or two to develop more of an outside game to be a high draft pick.

Having said that, if he's slotted to get drafted in 1st, he may very well go. But to be a lotto pick he has to develop his outside game or grow 2-3 inches.

If they all come back, we will be loaded. Crazy loaded.

And i hope they all come back. But Im getting more and more worried that Mickeys going to leave.

And why do people always talk about him not being able to play the 5.... hes not a 5. Hes a combo 3/4 forward. Kinda like how Tobias Harris is. Not saying hes similar to Harris or anything. But I see his role / position to be like what Harris plays.

Most realistic prediction IMO

Martin and Mickey will return.

JOB is gone. Don't think he really wanted to come back this season, but knew he wasn't getting drafted early, if at all.

Yeah, that's why I said possibly a lotto pick.

He's the best freshman we've had here since Anthony Randolph, who IIRC, was the 14th overall pick. That's kind of what I'm basing my assessment on.

And Mickey has been a top 10 freshman in the country all season long....

He definitely plays bigger than 6'-8".

Don't mean to sound "like that", but nothing i've seen from him this year convinces me he's NBA material. Plus, this year's draft is loaded.

I think we have 4 guys committed and only 2 seniors. Pretty sure everyone knows JOB is gone.

Randolph was also a 6'10'' player who could play on the perimeter. Scouts loved his versatility on offense. Bad comparison.

Sorry misread but I really think he is a guy that won't be projected high because in the NBA he would be guarding 4s and 5s. hopefully we have him atleast one more year.

Martin undoubtedly has the highest ceiling and that's why he will be projected higher even though Mickey has been more productive.
Randolph is the perfect example of the NBA drafting on potential over production.

if Martin and Mickey come back next year, LSU will have it's best starting 5 since 2006 but with more depth.

I'd be shocked to see JOB return just because his stock can't get much higher and he considered leaving last year.

Martin - comes back
JOB - I would imagine coming back. Plays more of a college type of style. Only thing that worries me is that he has already been here for 3 years, which is rare enough as it is.
Mickey - 50/50 but if I had to guess I would say coming back. 6'8 players in the NBA knock down mid range shots and can take you off the dribble, which I haven't consistently seen out of Mickey. The potential is there though

Maybe this is my wishful thinking, but I think there is a more than realistic chance all three return.
