We need an ice storm before every game and the Deaf Dome will be back.

They need to bribe us with hotdogs every game. That was awesome

Was watching from OOS, and didn't look like anyone showed up. Lots of empty seats, and tight picture scans usually means poor turn-out, but glad the student section was rocking.

The free hot dog line was wrapped around the god damn building.

I went somewhere else and tried the chicken finger basket for the first time this season.

The new chicken and fries are excellent.

There were many more people there than I expected with the weather. The student section was full, and everyone, student or not, was in the game. Great turnout in my opinion.

Cool. Just saw this in an ESPN article...

The student sections, however, were jammed from first row courtside to the last row near the stadium's domed roof. Classes had been cancelled, and perhaps as an antidote to cabin fever, the students showed up energized, and it appeared contagious.

... and was coming here to ask if that was really true. Kudos given how much flak the student section usually gets regarding LSU b-ball.

I agree - student section was great. They stayed loud and kept the team in the game when Kentucky started to make some runs.

It was the most students at a basketball game since 2009. The entire section was packed and all 3,000 people were standing up.

This. It was easily the best student section since they moved us behind the goal.

I was there. It was well worth the risk to drive there. Enjoyed it. Students did carry the team at several parts of this game. Hope this opens some eyes and we can get some better attendance to help this team.

THANKS STUDENTS

This team is young, just like Kentucky. Why doesn't Kentucky lose at home so much?... Crowd support. What happens to them when they go on the road????

Hope this sinks in soon. The more we support this team, the better they can be.
