Fugitive is one of those movies that if I see it on the guide, I'm usually watching it.

my uncle, who used to be a huge drunk, still has a friend (in his 50's) that he calls "the fugitive" because he has a fake arm .

The original line was "that isn't my problem."

Jones changed it to "I don't care."

Would have been epic if they actually found Richard Kimble in an outhouse....

no, I watched 4, 5 episodes before I quit.

fbi, marshalls, local pd, every human in the universe save for the serial killer and kevin bacon were imbeciles.

the fugitive portrays the feds as educated and qualified and the local pd as incompetent, stupid, poor and murderous (I'm referring to the scene where the cop with huge glasses orders the chopper to shoot kimble on sight, this is after they sent him to jail, to be fair the evidence was overwhelming but there was zero motive and they never even considered another suspect. a guy borrowing his car earlier that night might come off as a tad irregular and suspicious don't you think? They didn't even know that.

While I agree that's the portrayed stereo type, our local police and sheriff's dept. are very competent and effective.

Kinda random...but, I saw on the DVD that the St. Patty's day parade scene was all or mostly improv...pretty badass!

the only qualification is that you not be a criminal or a psychopath...and its impossible to determine the latter and unless convicted, the former

The retirement plan is out of this world though. Retire after 20 years and draw a full pension the rest of your life at 40 years old. Go find another job.

Should have thought of it when I was younger.

Crooked cops.
Do they come any other way?
If I'd been just a little dumber,
I could've joined the force myself.
