Ann Coulter Takes Stand Against Pot legalization

Ann Coulter railed wildly against the legalization of pot on Wednesday, saying that it would turn people into drugged zombies incapable of work.
Coulter sat down with Piers Morgan, and the two got in a heated debate over the implications of legalized pot.
"If it is made legal, vastly more people will take it and it will be a disaster for commerce," Coulter argued, adding, "Because potheads are incapable of following simple instructions and getting a job done."
When pressed by Morgan, Coulter gave the following example:
"When I moved to a new place in California and there was a pool, and the pool guy didn't, you know, I come back then it's four feet down it's covered with green mold. And I called him up, he was a pothead. 'I was there that day' so I took three pictures and henceforth that was my argument."
Coulter didn't elaborate on how she knew the guy was a pothead, or how using one experience to judge an entire piece of public policy made much sense, but she stuck to her guns.
A skeptical Morgan compared Coulter's definition of a "pothead" to being a heavy drinker or smoker.
"No, heavy smokers work all night and then die young saving the Social Security System money!" Coulter replied. "Potheads, I'm going to be paying for their food, housing, now for their health care apparently because they can't perform any useful jobs," she continued.

It's customary to put a link in your OP.
But not surprised she has an unintelligent stance on this issue.
The only thing standing in the way of pot legalization is institutional inertia at this point in time.

This is her bad side.

Ann Coulter is an attention seeking troll. But still, Thor disapproves.

the right still hasn't learned it's lesson on changing with the times. 4 more years I guess...

I'm kinda surprised considering my impression of her as an NYC urbanite...will be interesting to see if the party comes out on the wrong side of this issue too and further disconnects itself from the larger growing culture.

He's a pool guy, of course he smokes weed.

People in the media should really educate themselves. Good lord, she sounds like an idiot.

i'm not even a little surprised.

1. I don't think peoples main purpose in this world is to work. That's a ridiculous notion.
2. There are a lot of people smoking pot. Unless the pot smoking community is less than 7% of the country then i'd bet they're already there smoking pot.

Sorry they can't be drone workers who will handle your simple instructions and do your bidding.

well you know if it happened to you once that has to be the general rule about something.
I dislike Ann Coulter with a passion I honestly think she is smarter than she lets on but she plays to the dumb masses like a fiddle.

She has to be against pot legalization if it's seen as an issue that more liberals are for (libertarians be damned).

If this happens, it really confirms the notion the party is so inept socially. Hopefully for once, republicans are smart enough to see the writing on the wall for this issue and act accordingly for the futures sake.

She is. Her background makes it obvious. That's why she is rich and we are not. When she wants to make a strong conservative point she can/will and when she wants to make money or troll she will to pay the bills. Its pretty easy to figure it out.

She's an anorexic looking bitch, gets money off the simpleton right wingers, the same way Maddow gets it from the left.
Maybe one day you guys will learn to think for yourselves as opposed to having some paid talking heads think for you.

this is very true. Bill-O, Ann, Palin, Rush, Beck, all push people to the left. To belong in the same party as these folks is scary for alot of people.
ETA: :conspiracyalert: I have suspicions that these characters may have been created by the left to do just that.
