Yes and then he fielded the worst defense in UT history. Not one of the worst. THE worst. And was then brought back for another year cause our head coach was a combination of lazy, stubborn, and not giving a frick before Diaz was fired after Game #2 this past season. The book is out on Manny and it is a horror story.

Oh and LaTech opens up next year at OU. That should be fun.

How he did decent at all while at miss state i'll never understand because he was terrible at texas. However it's a chance for manny to learn a little more and get more experience and really refine his skills outside the lime light. Seems to me like that texas team was soft. He wasn't creative but the team as a whole was just soft and had been soft since before he got there. Good hire and fit for La Tech.
