Master Race Opinions Needed - Purchasing Pre-Built PC's on Ebay - Updated

Fiancee needs a Windows computer for side work and the Macbook is on its last leg. I figure Ill buy a gaming computer to benefit us both. I don't really have the time or desire to build a computer. I see a ton of new custom computers on Ebay and wondering what the pros/cons are for these items. Most offer lifetime tech support and are power sellers with good feedback.
Some of the auctions are linked below. I read some threads about some of yalls builds and just searched for computers with the suggested components for around $900.
AMD FX 8320
Intel I7
Used Dell with all accessories
The Dell had everything included and seemed like a good package deal. TIA to the Master Race.
ETA - I ended up purchasing the Dell due to time constraints with work and the fiancee's need to have it sooner than I could assemble. Installed an SSD this thing is smoking fast.

With that dell your going to have to spend around $300 on a GPU to not bottleneck the system. Dell ain't worth a shite to begin with so I would axe that anyway.
EDIT: Did not see the 7870....all I read was dedicated graphics.

What? The 7870 is a great card, and that build is a good build

lolwut
the 7870 is a perfectly fine card for 1080p gaming. if the system had much more card he would have to upgrade the PSU.

This is Ilikelsutoo's recommendations from last summer.

Did you even look at the GPU that was in the build?

Wasn't planning on it, but my budget is kind of low for a full all out build. I play all my games on the Xbox one. PC is mainly for my sig other. I like to dabble with RTS/simcity type games that are not available on consoles. I would like to stay around $800 or less for the PC. I would buy a monitor separately.
I have never built one.

$800 will be plenty for a PC designed specifically around Civ V, SimCity type games.
Hell i play Civ V on high settings at work with my work rig - its an old phenom II X4 with a 7870.

There's not a damned thing wrong with that Dell. About the only thing you may want to consider is putting in a solid state drive to host your OS on and that's just a nit-picky thing.

Funny you say that, as I would eventually add an SSD and just migrate Windows over to anything I buy used.

I've extended this offer to others -- I can walk you through the process if you have skype, a microphone, and a webcam.

I have both and appreciate the offer. I think I'm just being a pussy and lazy when making the decision of building my own. Do you have a link to one of your previous suggested builds around the $800 dollar mark?
I did a search and found some recommendations more into the 1100 and 1200 range. I think it was either you, Stout, or Mr. Gradowki. I will really only be playing RTS' as most of my weekend gaming is on the Xbone.

$800 will get you a nice set up.

Here's a starting point, just under $800, includes an SSD. Get Windows 7 from a torrent.
LINK (ignore the compatibility warning. It's fine)
This would be more than enough for playing Civ 5 and the like. I configured this with general day-to-day performance in mind, which is why I included an SSD. I went with the 270x so that I could use a fairly decent 970 chipset board for lower cost - the 970 would allow crossfire but not SLI. This will make it easier for you to add a second 270x down the line if you decide to go full Master-Race or if you just start playing more demanding games over the next couple of years -- essentially, this is just giving you a bit of a cost-effective upgrade path. The PSU I chose will accommodate a second 270x.
That Dell was actually good, though.
