Just watched Iron Man 3

All I can say is, wow.
It had a lot of promise, but just became a shite-show at the end. Highly disappointed in it.
Also, I'm not to up to date with the movie news, but RDJ gave up being Iron Man at the end it appears. Does he just decide to pick it up again for The Age of Ultron?

The fact that all of his suits became drones kind of made me question the purpose of having a hero at the end. I'm not sure if they plan on making more movies after that one, but, other than developing new technology, Tony Stark becomes sort of obsolete.

If you know the story behind Ultron and how they plan to change it to fit into Phase 2, it makes sense. This was also supposed to be the final stand alone Iron Man movie. I think Black ended it the best way he could.
From the early leaks of the Age of Ultron story it seems that all of the Avengers are removed.

I paid money to see Iron Man kicking arse and saving the day, not Tony Stark being emo for like 80% of the movie and pull some bullshite with the drones.
It's also fricking unforgivable how they completely ruined the mandarin. That was the most lame arse shite I've ever seen with a villain in comic book movies in the last 15 years. What the frick?

The fact that iron man fought a God in Thor and his suit wasnt destroyed.
But Killian and T-1000/Wolverine abilities can just rip his suit apart?

Yeah. I read the intention of having Tony not wear the suit for most of the movie was to show that he was the actual hero, not the suit. IMO, the movie made it seem like anyone could be Iron Man. I mean Pepper wore the suit more than Tony did in IM3.

I completely agree. When they revealed what Kingsley really was, I was like WTF? One of the stupidest moves in movies, possibly ever.
Just dumb.
And they really did cheapen the idea of the suit in this one. Even more so than in IM2.

Yea I was pretty disappointed with IM3 myself. I really didn't like the broken down Tony Stark or the way they handled the Mandarin.
I thought I had read somewhere that RDJ will have a much smaller role in the next Avengers movie.

I really enjoyed the first two movies.
The third was a dumpster fire that should never had been made.
They destroyed Iron Patriot a true bad arse and ruined The Mandarin.
Iron Man 3 was Green Lantern bad.

Like someone else said, that was after he fought a fricking god in the avengers and took a big hit from his hammer decently.
When me and my friends left the theatre, I told them we just got fricking ripped off. They were like shite yeah, marvel got us by the balls. We were pretty pissed that day.
One more thing about the mandarin, it's also unforgivable what a huge waste of Ben Kingsley he was. He could've been epic as the villain and instead he's a clown actor. That's some bullshite right there.
