What are the best games the genre of RTS has to offer?

My gaming knowledge extends on a little into this genre.
Starcraft 1 and 2
Warcraft
Empire Earth
A Civilization game or two
Halo Wars (horrible idea putting RTS on console)
What games have I missed?

I loved playing command and conquer generals, but I'm not sure which is the main command and conquer game.
Age of empires was also another pretty big RTS

Europa Universalis
And particularly: Alpha Centauri (even though it's generally recognized, it's underrated as a GOAT in the RTS genre)

The genre starts and ends with Age of Empires IMO FWIW.
Age of Mythology was a nice one off of the series too.

The only other answer is Starcraft, but for me personally, Age of Empires is the best RTS series ever made (more specifically Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion)

Generals was fun. Enjoyed Red Alert 2 and Yuri's revenge expansion pack much more though. Definitely either is worth a play for anyone who likes RTS.
