No pics.
I figured this board would be better help than the OT so I decided to start here for hotel suggestions.

We want to hang out in the French Quarter area.

What's the best hotels in the area?

Someone mentioned Bourbon Orleans but it seemed to get mixed reviews online.

Monteleone... Sold Out
Ritz Sold Out
Royal Sonesta Sold Out
Omni Sold Out
Windsor Sold Out

Suggestions?

Thanks

Hotel Modern? Not in the quarter, but close enough and yet far enough away from the madness.

little more of a walk but windsor court is the best hotel for you for this.

Wife and I have stayed at Maison Dupuy and St James Inn.

Both were fine and dandy for us, and right on the edge of the quarter, and affordable.

Roosevelt and Loewes. Both are close enough and nice.

A great hotel for the value.

Many weekends are extremely packed for the N.O. hotels now through the end of May.

Hate to say it, but you might have to settle for the Hilton Riverside or Marriott/Sheraton.

It really is not a bad idea to consider the Warehouse District. The area is good and if you think you need to be in the French Quarter, it's not a bad walk.

For our staycation, we enjoyed the Embassy Suites in that area. I think it is on Julia St.

Friends have stayed at the Loews and thought it was fine. Lobby is very nice, but that's as far I've been. Not in the FQ, though.

Loews and Roosevelt are two nice recommendations close enough. Loews has cafe Adelaide (it's ok) and Roosevelt has domenica and the sazerac bar. Hotel modern has bellocq bar attached which has some cool beverages. International house is pretty fun to stay at and has a great bar in the lobby. Think they have "rock star" rooms upstairs with no windows which helps to sleep in and lose track of time. Not the nicest rooms in the building but helps on a long weekend. The intercontinental was also a nice inside to the place and affordable. There's a few on my behalf.

The Holiday Inn Downtown is newly renovated and in a good location. Not upscale or anything, but I think it's a solid little hotel.

Roosevelt and Windsor Court are both great.

I will agree and will also put the Hermann House at the Dauphine Orleans up there. I love the Upstairs 1 bedroom suite there and the king rooms along the courtyard are nice as well. If not there then usually at the Lamothe House or the Frenchmen.

I don't know why, but lewd comments came to mind. I'll refrain.
