Have to get a bed cover and can't decide which one is better. The Backflip isn't bad but I feel like it would be a pain if I wanted to move something that had to stick up out of the bed. The Retractable kind I'm worried that the roll would get in the way if it's rolled in the front of the bed.
What say the OT?
Backflip

Retractable

Any reason to have a cover is a better reason for an suv and trailer

I have the bakflip G2. Love it. I got one to keep snow out of the back. Works great

Have the BakFlip, best add-on to my truck.

Use the online Outlets, they work on the price with me plus got Free Shipping.

My job requires me to use my truck and I have to be able to secure the stuff I put in the back. Couple of guys at work have the backflip but I feel like the retractable is a little nicer.

BakFlip has a Bakbox option for tools, jumper cables, chains, axes, pry bars, straps, slicker suit, etc.

All the crap you need to keep covered.

Retractable restricts you a little more

Part of your bed is always taken up

I can remove my entire backflip or fold it vertical pretty easily if I needed to

Pace Edwards Switchblade I have one on my 2013 Screw F150 and love it. My second choice was a fold a cover. Bakflip was never an option.

frick that, those things are expensive as hell. I have a TonnoPro that is a tri fold cover ($250 shipped to my door, thanks Amazon Prime). Looks good when it is on and keeps moisture out. Biggest plus is it can be removed in under a minute (install takes about 3 to make sure everything is centered) and is very light, making it easy to move and store on my own. I only use it when I'm going on vacation and need all the bags and stuff in the bed. All other times, my truck bed is open to do truck things.

I will eventually get one of these Peragon Truck cover They are retractable and you can get them in colors to match your truck.
